B Lab Raises the Bar

As the climate crisis intensified and societal inequality only seemed to get worse, B Lab began to question if it might be time for change, and having asked the question, has spent the last 5 years in research, expert consultations, and feedback from the B Corp community.

In April of this year they unveiled their new set of standards which will phase in over this year and the next.  These standards are more transparent, more equitable, and yes—more ambitious—than were the prior ways of assessment, and with them, the B Lab community is ready to tell an even more meaningful story of what it is to be a B Corp.
