Take a look at Amy's gorgeous new Headquarters.

Susan Morton

On Friday Sept 29 Amy’s Kitchen held the grand opening of its new headquarters at 109 Kentucky Street in downtown Petaluma. Take a look around--with thanks to David Templeton of the Petaluma Argus-Courier--who really was there.

The building is historic. Built in 1941, it was originally a Leader Department Store--“the largest department store north of San Francisco devoted to ladies clothing," but the

building had sat empty for several years before being purchased by Amy’s. Now the grand old building can again be vibrant cog in Petaluma’s bustling downtown.

As an historic building, its wonderful “Streamline Modern” exterior will be maintained, but its interior has been extensively remodeled with an open design that accommodates Amy’s ideal of collaboration between the crew and the community. The mezzanine includes a modern kitchen, several large meeting rooms and many workstations. Private offices are upstairs. Events open to the public are planned, including cooking lessons!
